St Dunstans Church

2016 - April - Monks Risborough

Sold-out, outstanding first event for this ancient church rasing funds. Full band with pews packed-in. Glorious acoustics and just enough space for a few to dance. Well-received and booking again for 2017!

Riding for the Disabled (Repeat event!)

2015 - February - Speen

Superb event for a Valentine's themed evening. All the best love songs given the super smooth SWAY treatment in aid of RDA - Riding for the Disabled in Speen Village Hall. They know how to party in Speen - this time we even had the audience singing along!

Magical Jazz Picnic. (Repeat events 2015, 2016 and booked for 2017)

2014 - June - Long Crendon

Fundraising Jazz Picnic for the Friends of St Marys Long Crendon June 22nd 2014 - This was a great afternoon af upbeat Jazz, Swing and Latin numbers in the sunshine in glorious surroundings in this delightful village location.

The A21 Campaign.

2013 - June - Thame

Fundraising for the A21 Campaign, a Not for Profit Organsiation that exists to abolish injustice in the 21st century through a comprehensive system of preventative measures, victim protection, prosecution of violators, and strategic partnerships.

Aim - to balance the hard messages of the campaign with a joyful and swinging counterpoint. Guest vocalists and a lively set-list.

Riding for the Disabled.

2013 - October - Speen

Fabulous evening of fun and dance in aid of RDA - Riding for the Disabled in Speen Village Hall - Wow - not much room there, but we squeezed in our 6-piece and sound system and had them dancing up front and calling for more!

Scout Hut - Auction of Promises - The Wedding Band.

2011 - September - Brill

On top of the world at the Brill wedding reception, booked as part of an auction of promises rasing funds for the 1st Bernewood Forest Scout Hut campaign.

Our successful bidders greeted their guests with the SWAY 4-piece setup outside the entrance to the main marquee and providing pre-and post-dinner music.

Lovely event, lovely people, great music and all for a good cause!

Rob's 50th.

2015 - March - Long Crendon School

Private party to celebrate Rob's "Arthur". Three bands playing and 120 guests having fun and dancing the night away. A memorable evening and one that Rob hopes to repeat when he gets his telgram in another 50 years.

6-Piece band set up, one set, Katy making a soulful return on Sax for the night and Phaedra Ashford our guest vocalist fitting right in to the SWAY sound.

Phil's 90th.

2014 - April - Princes Risborough Golf Course

Private party to celebrate Phil's amazing life with all his friends and fmaily on his 90th birthday.

6-Piece band set up, playing all our old favourites and a few new ones too.

Lettie's 50th.

2013 - Autumn - Long Crendon

Lovely litlle Village Hall with it's own stage - just right for SWAY to snuggle-in and serenade the birthday girl and her family and friends all evening.

Plenty of dancing and a lovely family atmosphere.

Sandra's Bond-themed Birthday.

2013 - Summer - Thame Barns Centre

Wow - this was one hot, hot mid-summer's evening. I thought my clarinet was going to melt. The James Bond-themed party brought a great display of imaginative costumes and elegant, suave attire. SWAY added Bond scores to our set list with some guest vocalists up on stage to make it all personal for the birthday girl.

Phew! What a scorcher!

Sally's Garden Party.

2013 - Summer - Aylesbury

Beautiful garden party, playing under a gazebo whilst Sally's family and friends joined in, sang songs, played games and relaxed to the sound of SWAY in the Garden.
